The 2018 Montreal meeting, which is being organised by Rob Jones, Graham Gilgrass and Bob Jones, will be held in the region of Inveraray in Argyll, Scotland, from 6 to 9 September.
The venue will be the 4-star Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa, ideally situated with uninterrupted views of Loch Fyne and beyond to the Cowal Hills.
A preliminary programme for the meeting was made available in five languages.
The inclusive price was about EUR 1100 per team, and to avoid VAT having to be charged registered participants were sent an invoice from Crowner's Foundation about two months before the meeting.
An illustrated preliminary programme is available in English, French, German and Dutch.
Very successful international meetings for Montreal enthusiasts have been held in various European countries every year since 1987.
Håkan himself died 25 days after the end of the meeting. The 2017 AROC-USA Convention on 13 - 16 July was combined with that of the Alfa Romeo Club of Canada (ARCC) and based at the Pointe Claire Holiday Inn near Montreal, Canada.
In accordance with Håkan's wishes, this Bernhard Schalbetter Memorial Trophy is awarded each year to the owner who has driven his Montreal the longest distance (excluding any ferry crossings, transporter shipping stages, etc) to participate in the annual European Montreal meeting. Delmas Greene prepared a presentation of the provisional plan (5MB pdf).
